If you're feeling introspective and are emotionally prepared for it The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum is a beautiful place to visit, built on top of a tremendous horror. There are park rangers on hand to answer questions and the museum has incredible artifacts with emotional connections to the event. The Survivor Tree outside thrives, the chair memorial is incredible. Colin has a wealth of thought on the circumstances of the attack as he has a library on the topic.
Featuring a variety of rotating exhibits, the OKC Museum of Art is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon or morning. The famous Dale Chihuly glass sculpture in the main rotunda is an unavoidable must-see first thing. There are galleries containing post-war and contemporary art, European art, decorative objects, and photography. Parking is simple and the downtown streetcars go right by.
